Root Canal Treatment

Overview

A root canal is an endodontic treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or infected. Our modern techniques make this procedure virtually painless.

When is it Needed?

You may need a root canal if you experience severe toothache, prolonged sensitivity to heat or cold, swelling in the gums, or absolute discoloration of the tooth.

Procedure & Aftercare

The infected pulp inside the tooth is removed, and the inside is cleaned and sealed. A crown is later placed over the tooth for protection. Healing takes a few days with mild discomfort easily managed by prescribed medicines.
